Thrilled to announce the very first workshops for 2016, with no other than Mr. Pole Dance 2015 – Adam Lin!
Adam Lin is the recently crowned Mr Pole Dance 2015, Australian male pole dance champion! Despite having started pole only two years ago, Adam has already a collected string of awards and titles at a national competition level. He has an 8-year background in dance and has successfully competed in many Taiwanese dance competitions, since the age of 14. Adam is a versatile performer, well-known for his dynamic power and fierce attitude – both on stage and on the pole. Adam breathes new life into every performance, incorporating a fusion of styles from voguing, wacking and jazz funk to street dance, hip hop and contemporary.
We will be hosting 2 workshops open for both polers and new-comers:
11.00 – 12.30 Signature Tricks (90min/ 50€)
Adam is well known for his high-intensity dynamic routines – and in this workshop he will teach a range of powerful pole tricks and spins – like the Extreme Rag Doll showcased in his winning Mr Pole Dance routine, and a number of other daring drops and flips. Let’s take pole to the extreme – this class is great for thrillseekers!
Required level: Intermediate/Advanced
12.45 – 14.00 Pole Choreography/Voguing (75min/40€)
Adam combines his 8 year background in dance with his natural flair for pole, to bring you this fun and challenging pole routine! In this workshop, you will learn the fundamentals of voguing, wacking and jazz funk, bringing new attitude and ferocity to your performance repertoire.
Required level: Open level. This is a choreography-based class suitable for males and females of all skill levels (tricks can be adapted to cater for students as necessary, this class based on style development for the students.* heels are required).
